This is a re-read. I'm reading it again because I have just found the perfect Sherlock Holmes.<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Here's a snippet from my review on a British miniseries called SHERLOCK<br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong></strong></div></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><strong></strong><blockquote>The minute I saw Sherlock I knew straight away that <strong><em>H</em></strong><strong><em>E IS A BETTER SHERLOCK</em></strong> than anyone I have ever seen. In fact, he is the most perfect Sherlock Holmes that represents how I imagine Sherlock whenever I read the book. He is annoying, obnoxious, a pain in the butt, rude, self-absorbed, cold, & arrogant smart ass. He ignores women. And last but not least, he is annoying…ow, I’ve said that already! However pain in the butt he is…<strong><em>I LOVE THAT MAN!!! </em></strong> <a href="http://bokunosekai.wordpress.com/2010/12/26/sherlock-a-study-in-pink/">continue reading</a>.<br /></blockquote>After seeing that miniseries,I wanted to re-read my Sherlock Holmes' books.<br /><br />Before this book, I finished my other re-read book,<span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">The Lord of The Rings - Th</span><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">e Return of The King</span> (My review will be up on Wednesday) and my first Chicken Soup. Chicken Soup has never made me interested to read it, but thisone hasa strong appeal on me, the Chicken Soup I was reading is Chicken Soup for the Cat & Dog Lover's Soul.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/the-return-of-the-king.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 156px; height: 257px;" src="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/the-return-of-the-king.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/for-cat-and-dog-soul.jpg?w=181&h=298"> <img style="cursor: pointer; width: 157px; height: 257px;" src="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2010/12/for-cat-and-dog-soul.jpg?w=181&h=298" alt="" border="0" /></a></div><br />The reason for reading that chicken soup is simple...because I LOVE MY PETS VERY MUCH. You can read my review on the book <a href="http://bokunosekai.wordpress.com/2010/12/25/chicken-soup-for-the-cat-and-dog-lovers-soul/">here</a>.<br /><br />The book doesn't have story of turtles, so I shared my own story with my turtles<br /><blockquote><p style="text-align: justify;">People might think that reptiles can not think and they can’t show affection toward their owner….I have to say that <span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"><strong><em>those people are so wrong!!</em></strong> </span>Reptiles will behave depends on how their owner treat them.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><em><strong>My turtles know their names</strong></em> and they listen to me from time to time. They are not as obedient as dog but you’ll be amazed to see that they understand it perfectly well when I told them not to go somewhere. Once when the front door was open, Kroten stepped out of the front door and I told her with higher tone ‘Kroten, don’t go outside!!’ and Kroten turned back and sat inside the house looking at the view outside the door. <a href="http://kamekroten.wordpress.com/2010/12/25/my-own-chicken-soup-story/">continue reading</a><br /></p></blockquote>After my current book, I will definitely read something by Stephen King, I really miss reading his book. I probably will read <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Blaze</span>.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/blaze.jpg"><img style="cursor: pointer; width: 184px; height: 246px;" src="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/blaze.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">What are you reading now?</span><br /><br /><strong></strong></div><strong></strong><br /><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;"></span></strong></div>Novrozhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05410600219306917078noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2033444607566708483.post-42293960677647214322010-12-12T21:51:00.000-08:002010-12-12T22:35:37.687-08:00It's Monday! My original plan is to read 1 book of The Lord of The Rings per year. I have read The Fellowship of The Rings Last year and just finished The Two Towers, but it turns out that separating The Two Towers from The Return of The King is impossible. I grabbed the book straight away once I finished The Two Towers.<br /><br />This is my 4thtime reading The Lord of The Rings series. For me, TLoTR is the best series ever created. I love everything about it.<br /><br />I will reread The Hobbits when the movie is about to be released.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/the-two-towers.jpg"><img style="float: right; margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; cursor: pointer; width: 180px; height: 289px;" src="http://bokunosekai.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/the-two-towers.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I have just Finished reading <a href="http://bokunosekai.wordpress.com/2010/12/04/the-two-towers/">The Two Towers</a> (as I already said before). This book is my favorite of all 3 because it has both action and noble words.<br /><br />I took some time to write a <a href="http://bokunosekai.wordpress.com/2010/12/09/the-two-towers-%e2%80%93-book-and-movie-a-comparison/">comparison of the book and the movie</a>. There are a lot differences, some are good some are bad.<br /><br />For future read. I'm not sure which one to read first. I'm planning to finish books I have left untouched for months. Those books are StainedGlass Elegies by Shusaku Endo and Dark House by Gary Crew.
