BTT - Skeletons

In honor of Halloween this weekend:

What reading skeletons do you have in your closet? Books you’d be ashamed to let people know you love? Addiction to the worst kind of romance? Your old collection of Bobbsey Twin Mysteries lovingly stored behind your “grown-up” books? You get the picture … come on, confess!

This is a bit difficult...I never feel ashamed of what I read. But if I really have to choose which one is it, then I choose a series of romance by Kyoko Hikawa.

I don't like Shoujo Manga (Manga for girls) because it always fill with cheesy teenagers romance, however there is this 1 series I love so much. The story is about Chizumi, a very careless girl, and her boyfriend, Fujiomi who is very handsome but cold. No girl dares to get close to him, but when he starts dating Chizumi...all the girls started thinking that Fujiomi is not as cold as he seems.

BUT....in truth, I'm not ashamed of this Manga at all, I even recommend it to my friends, let's just say this one is the most different of all books I usually read.

There are 3 books that tell the story of Chizumi and Fujiomi and I love all 3 of them.

I still couldn't read any Romance novel...but I can allow some romance Manga to enter my shelf :)

How bout you?

BTT - Foreign

Name a book (or books) from a country other than your own that you love. Or aren't there any?

Wow...where do I begin? There are so many.

I come from Indonesia but I only have 1 favorite Indonesian writer. Other than him, I love authors from other countries.

I'll try to write only my most favorite ones.

1. Green Mile; The Shining; Cell; Shawshanks Redemption and Rita Hayworth; etc by my number one author, Stephen King. SK is from US.

3. One Piece by the greatest mangaka Eiichiro Oda, from Japan

2. Battle Royale by Koushun Takami, also from Japan.

3. The Square Persimmon by Takashi Atoda. The best short story collection I've ever read. It's from Japan.

4. The Lord of The Rings; The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien, from England.

I don't want to write too many books, these 4 is enough for now.

You can read my review of those books in my "Books I have Read"

How bout you? is there any great books from other country?

WWW Wednesday #1

A weekly Meme held by Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

* What are you currently reading?
* What did you recently finish reading?
* What do you think you’ll read next?

I have just finished The Manhattan Hunt Club by John Saul.
Not a great book, I haven't written my review yet.

I am now reading Under The Dome by Stephen King. It probably will take a month for me to finish it because it is a 1074 pages book.

I'm planning to read Andrea Hirata's newest book, Padang Bulan. Andrea Hirata is my favorite Indonesian Author.

How bout you? what book you've finished reading, what book you are currently read and what will you read next?
