W.W.W Wednesday

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
It's fun to be back to WWW Wednesday :)

• What are you currently reading?
Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, this will be part of my Haruki Murakami Reading Challenge...which I didn't consider as challenge at all because I love Murakami's books

• What did you recently finish reading?

I have just finished the third novella in Different Seasons, The Body. Different Seasons has 4 novellas and I am reading each novellas in its own time. The other Novellas I have read were Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption and Apt Pupil.

• What do you think you’ll read next?

I will read a book called Shelter, it is an unpublished book (yet) by a blogger friend of mine named Nicholas Jobe.

Here's the highlight of the book:
a blood-soaked girl shows up at a police station requesting to speak with a specific detective—who doesn’t even know who she is—and he must figure out what happened to her and her family. They were supposedly trapped in an old bomb shelter by a demon, but was it really supernatural forces, or was it something more logical hiding behind the curtain?

It's Monday! What Are you Reading? (03-01-'11)

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. This event is hosted by Sheila of Book Journey.

It's been a while since my last post for It''s Monday! What Are You reading. I am going to sum up all that had been happening in between.

First of all, My pet-turtles and I would like to wish yo
u all:

The book I am currently reading is The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes. This is a re-read. I'm reading it again because I have just found the perfect Sherlock Holmes.

Here's a snippet from my review on a British miniseries called SHERLOCK
The minute I saw Sherlock I knew straight away that HE IS A BETTER SHERLOCK than anyone I have ever seen. In fact, he is the most perfect Sherlock Holmes that represents how I imagine Sherlock whenever I read the book. He is annoying, obnoxious, a pain in the butt, rude, self-absorbed, cold, & arrogant smart ass. He ignores women. And last but not least, he is annoying…ow, I’ve said that already! However pain in the butt he is…I LOVE THAT MAN!!! continue reading.
After seeing that miniseries,I wanted to re-read my Sherlock Holmes' books.

Before this book, I finished my other re-read book,The Lord of The Rings - The Return of The King (My review will be up on Wednesday) and my first Chicken Soup. Chicken Soup has never made me interested to read it, but thisone hasa strong appeal on me, the Chicken Soup I was reading is Chicken Soup for the Cat & Dog Lover's Soul.

The reason for reading that chicken soup is simple...because I LOVE MY PETS VERY MUCH. You can read my review on the book here.

The book doesn't have story of turtles, so I shared my own story with my turtles

People might think that reptiles can not think and they can’t show affection toward their owner….I have to say that those people are so wrong!! Reptiles will behave depends on how their owner treat them.

My turtles know their names and they listen to me from time to time. They are not as obedient as dog but you’ll be amazed to see that they understand it perfectly well when I told them not to go somewhere. Once when the front door was open, Kroten stepped out of the front door and I told her with higher tone ‘Kroten, don’t go outside!!’ and Kroten turned back and sat inside the house looking at the view outside the door. continue reading

After my current book, I will definitely read something by Stephen King, I really miss reading his book. I probably will read Blaze.

What are you reading now?
